Our Family Wellness Program identifies & addresses the social-emotional needs of individual children (from birth to age 5 years) within both the family and community. Practitioners and caseworkers work with staff and parents/guardians to identify possible early emotional disturbances within children enrolled in CommUnify’s Children’s Services Program. Services are tailored to the needs of each child within the context of their family system. Services are billed to Medi-Cal in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness or to CommUnify’s Children’s Services Program.

Services include:

• Assessment
• Development
• Individual and family group rehabilitation and therapy
• Case management to connect children to services in the community
• Intensive planning with a team of professionals and caring adults to assist in the success of the child
